RSB Student Ambassador What is the RSB Student Ambassador Program?

The RSB Student Ambassador Program invites students from primary school to university to get involved with fundraising and being active in their communities, while meeting their schooling or study objectives.

What does it take to be an RSB Student Ambassador?

  • Do you want to make a difference in your community?
  • Are you aged between 10-25 years old?
  • Are you currently at school or studying?
  • Do you want to set goals for yourself and achieve results?

RSB Student Ambassador Rewards

The RSB Student Ambassador Program assists students to meet curriculum objectives for Personal Development Projects, SACE Community Projects, or as part of the International Baccalaureate Program – just to name a few! The Program is also available to students who simply want to have some fun and make a difference to the lives of South Australians who are blind or vision impaired.

Student Success Stories

Woodcroft College student and RSB Student Ambassador, Mitchell, received fantastic support for his marathon bike ride, cycling 280km to raise money for the RSB to complete his Year 10 Personal Project.

RSB Student Ambassador activity examples

Events

  • Fundraise with a BBQ, picnic or morning tea
  • Host a dinner party
  • Hold an art exhibition, fashion parade, garage sale or movie night!

Volunteering

  • Volunteer your time and help at an RSB event
  • Become a Puppy Educator
  • Distribute and collect RSB coin collection units around your local area

Fundraising

  • Sell RSB merchandise at your school, university or local shopping centre
  • Take on a personal challenge and get sponsors
  • Sell Entertainment Books

Community Education:

  • Arrange a RSB Community Education Presentation at your school, sporting or social club
